At BYU Asian & Near Eastern Languages Dept., I developed and implemented a research plan on “Black Myth Wukong: A study on Gamified Second Language Learning” to investigate whether video games could supplement Chinese learning.
I used electroencephalography (EEG) machinery to measure participants’ brainwaves during gaming sessions and presented my findings at the 2025 ACTFL Conference in New Orleans.
At Science & Technology Corp., I worked alongside chemists on preparatory work for experiments, collected scientific data in Excel spreadsheets, and calculated experiment results. I also coordinated furniture and other item movements to and from the Missionary Training Center campus.
