What I'm looking for

I’m looking to deliver patient-centered OT support that builds independence in daily life. I want a collaborative team where I can document clearly, coordinate care, and use adaptive tools to improve functional outcomes.

I’m a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who thrives in ambiguous circumstances, using innovation and initiative to achieve results. I’m a natural relationship builder who gathers and compiles best practices to support positive change.

Since 03/2023, I’ve been delivering home-based OT support at John Brogdon Home Health in New Orleans, LA. I assist with individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional skills, while guiding patients through exercises and adaptive equipment use.

Through roles at Lagniappe Rehabilitation Services, Therapy Management Corporation, and HealthPRO/Heritage, I’ve strengthened my ability to observe and assess patients, document progress and changes in condition, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. I complete and maintain accurate records in compliance with home health agency policies and regulatory standards, ensuring timely submission to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

My foundation includes Level II Fieldwork across pediatrics and geriatrics, plus an Associate in Applied Science: Occupational Therapy Assistant (December 2019) from Delgado Community College. I also hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification and bring a collaborative, service-minded approach grounded in clear communication and patient-focused care.
