I’m a Backend Engineer at Microsoft Azure Networking with 4+ years of experience building cloud-scale Azure backend platforms for customer diagnostics, reliability automation, and partner validation systems across ExpressRoute and Network Virtual Appliances. I’m driven by end-to-end ownership—from telemetry and distributed test pipelines to live-site incident response and customer-facing improvements.

At Microsoft, I built a Kusto-backed ExpressRoute BGP diagnostics experience integrated with a Guided Troubleshooter, enabling standardized BGP-down event retrieval without exposing raw syslogs. I also designed metrics and workflow support for Multi-Cloud ExpressRoute circuits, implemented rate-limiting for ExpressRoute circuits on Arista devices at large scale, and modernized ExpressRoute Resiliency Insights—migrating route evaluation to improve telemetry and reducing scorecard cache expiry from 60 minutes to 5 minutes.

As a DRI, I’ve resolved numerous high-severity ExpressRoute/NVA live-site incidents with proper RCA and follow-ups, while also strengthening partner workflows. I designed PR-triggered Managed NVA validation pipelines with automated onboarding QA checks, built reliability improvements that prevented production timeouts, and developed NVATaaS—an API-first self-serve validation platform for third-party vendors across scenarios like Live Migration and VF Revoke.
