I’m a Python/Django backend developer from Kathmandu with 2+ years of experience building REST APIs for e-commerce, delivery, travel, and e-learning products.
At Sajilo Life (since March 2025), I act as backend lead: I work across 400+ API endpoints, review merge requests, and mentor interns and junior developers. I integrated an e-commerce platform with a delivery system using HMAC-signed webhooks and asynchronous processing, built Khalti and eSewa payment flows, and upgraded an inherited codebase from Python 3.8 and Django 3.x to Python 3.12 and Django 5.2 LTS. I also deploy with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS (EC2, RDS, S3), and cut one project’s pipeline from about 16 jobs to about 9.
Before that, I worked at UpTechSys (2023–2024), starting as an intern and moving up to junior developer, building Django REST Framework backends for school management and CMS platforms with role-based access control and PostgreSQL.
I hold a BSc CSIT from Nepalalaya College (2020–2025). I’m looking for a backend or backend-plus-DevOps role where I can keep growing in API design, reliability, and deployment. Available from January 2027 and comfortable working remotely across time zones.
