Sara Zabarino

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Molecular Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Southern California. With a GPA of 3.93, I have developed a solid foundation in various aspects of pharmacology, including ADME principles and therapeutic mechanisms. My academic journey has been complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition Science from Florida State University, where I graduated with a GPA of 3.84.

My professional experience as a Lab Technician at Infermi’s Hospital in Italy has equipped me with hands-on skills in microbiology, pathological anatomy, and various analytical techniques. I have operated sophisticated instruments such as spectrophotometers and chromatographs, performed microscopic examinations, and utilized microbiological techniques for specimen analysis. My ability to manage time effectively and adapt to different laboratory environments has been crucial in delivering accurate results.

In addition to my academic and professional achievements, I am a former NCAA Division 1 student-athlete, recognized for my commitment to excellence both in sports and academics. I have been awarded the Golden Torch Award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA and have competed at international levels in javelin, holding the U23 Italian record. I am passionate about contributing to the field of pharmacology and eager to apply my skills in a challenging and innovative environment.
