In my Independent Behavioral Health Practice, I manage patient access and payer workflows from inquiry and intake readiness through benefits questions, authorization follow-up, and continuity of care. I coordinate patients, caregivers, providers, insurers, pharmacies, credentialing organizations, and referral partners to clarify requirements and resolve access barriers.
I track claims, EOBs, insurer payments, patient responsibility, and unresolved balances, and support provider enrollment, credentialing, eligibility verification, and claims submissions. I use Availity, Excel, and structured tracking to keep payer status and follow-up needs visible while protecting privacy and documentation integrity.
At the State of Connecticut and Howell Cheney Technical High School, I lead regulated adolescent and family service workflows, including assessment, intervention, crisis response, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination. I create tracking tools, templates, and communication controls to support role clarity and follow-through.
Across school and behavioral-health settings, I’ve coordinated complex cases, supported families’ access to external providers, and provided clinical supervision and case consultation. My work draws on behavioral-health practice, motivational interviewing, and compliant documentation to support engagement and continuity of care.
