Sarah Hornby
@sarahhornby
I translate sustainability research into accessible communication for circular fashion and bioeconomy initiatives.
What I'm looking for
I'm completing an M.Sc. in Bioeconomy at the University of Hohenheim, where my thesis explores how biobased materials can be integrated into fashion design and value chains.
At the University of Hohenheim, I produce multimedia content for the News4Internationals podcast and social channels, and support Bioeconomy Office research, networking, events, workshops, and interdisciplinary coordination. I translate complex sustainability topics into podcasts, videos, social content, presentations, and written materials for international audiences.
My background also includes organic and controlled-environment agriculture, value-added food production, circular-consumption trend analysis at Poshmark, and food-systems study in Costa Rica. I'm especially interested in sustainable agrifood systems, resource efficiency, circular fashion and textile value chains, and creative connections between art, design, and the bioeconomy.
