At Communities In Schools of San Antonio, I managed a caseload of elementary students and developed individualized service plans addressing academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional needs. I used assessments and outcome data to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
As a Legislative Aide Intern at the Office of State Representative Diego Bernal, I researched policy and agency procedures and prepared clear guidance for staff and constituents. I coordinated with agencies and community organizations on constituent cases involving public benefits, housing, disability services, and other needs, helping secure corrected determinations and restored benefits.
At Tailor Made Senior Services, I assessed older adults’ and families’ needs and coordinated assisted-living and memory-care placements. I also developed policy and advocacy materials on Texas Education Freedom Accounts, public-benefits policies, and immigration detention and community impact.
