Santiago Mongua
@santiagomongua
Undergraduate physics student passionate about finance and data analysis.
What I'm looking for
I am an undergraduate final-year Physics student with a strong foundation in mathematics, coding, and data analysis. My passion lies in applying quantitative and analytical skills to the finance sector, particularly in investment banking, risk management, and financial modeling. I have gained valuable experience using Python and data-driven approaches to tackle complex problems, which I believe is essential in today’s data-centric world.
Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my leadership and teamwork skills, demonstrated by my role as a Teacher at Neuroharte, where I instructed scholarship-holders in various subjects. Additionally, as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Los Andes, I supported over 300 students in physics courses, providing mentorship and feedback. My involvement in the Finance & Investment Club has further fueled my interest in finance, where I actively participate in trading contests and initiatives that enhance my understanding of capital markets.
