Sandeepa Muthukumari

At Sri Lanka Ports Authority, I contributed to the implementation of the Document Digitization System as a trainee with the Information Systems Division. I worked on development using AngularJS, Spring Boot, HTML/CSS, and TypeScript, and took an active role in testing and quality assurance.

I received train-the-trainer instruction on the system and shared that knowledge with end users across SLPA’s 26 functional divisions. The training covered document scanning, indexing, retrieval, version control, access security, and auditing.

For my final-year project, I designed a blockchain-integrated scheme to detect and mitigate mobility pattern and trajectory poisoning attacks in Software-Defined Vehicular Networks. I built scenario-specific detectors in Python and PyTorch, then validated them using NS-3/SUMO-simulated vehicular beacon data.

I’ve also built projects including a MERN hotel booking application, a Next.js and TypeScript Learning Management System, and a React social media application deployed using AWS. I recently completed a BSc (Hons) in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna.
