Samyukta Dorman

I’m a legal associate and legal consultant with 2+ years of experience in commercial litigation, legal research, and dispute resolution. My work strengthens pleadings and strategy for matters across contract, commercial, criminal, labour, and civil disputes.

In my current role as a Self Employed Legal Consultant (July 2024–Present), I provide contract-basis legal research, drafting, and litigation support for a senior advocate’s practice. I draft petitions, written statements, applications, and written submissions, including materials prepared for Supreme Court filing, and I analyze commercial agreements to identify ambiguities, risk areas, and enforcement issues.

Previously at ADF India as a Legal Associate (Nov 2023–June 2024), I drafted legal petitions, writ applications, affidavits, and Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) for filing before high courts and the Supreme Court. I also conducted legal research on fundamental rights, religious liberty law, and international human rights jurisprudence, preparing legal briefs and supporting litigation strategy with senior counsel and law firms.

Earlier, as an ADF India Legal Intern (Oct 2022–Mar 2023), I supported contract analysis, contractual interpretation, and risk assessment for commercial agreements, alongside research and document drafting for constitutional and public interest matters. Overall, I’m building toward contract law and transactional advisory while keeping my litigation skills sharp through precise legal writing and research.
