Samuel Adisa
@samueladisa
Early-career environmental monitoring professional combining microbiology training with data-driven pollution quality control.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Microbiology-trained professional with a BSc and hands-on experience grounded in both lab practice and real-world environmental work. My undergraduate research focused on bioconversion of pineapple juice to acetic acid using Acetobacter aceti, with careful monitoring of pH, temperature, and incubation time.
During my Medical Microbiologist Intern placement, I supported specimen collection, preparation, and handling using standard laboratory procedures. Under supervision, I performed basic microbiological tests including culturing and staining, while maintaining laboratory safety, hygiene, and aseptic conditions and documenting observations accurately.
In my Pollution Monitoring and Quality Control role (NYSC), I processed and analyzed environmental compliance reports to ensure adherence to pollution standards across multiple industrial sectors. I also conducted comprehensive field inspections at over 20 industrial sites, documented compliance metrics and environmental impact assessments, and supported state-level climate action planning through emissions data analysis and regulatory compliance monitoring.
I bring a careful, quality-focused mindset to every task—whether it’s regulatory compliance monitoring or laboratory quality control. I’m also motivated by public health impact, through community service activities such as HIV, Hepatitis and Blood Transfusion awareness campaigns and a maternal health care project providing essential supplies.
