Fasasi Bukky

At the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), I trained across the Land and Water Pollution Control Unit, Potable Water Laboratory, and Wastewater Laboratory.

I conducted water-quality analyses, including pH, turbidity, COD, and dissolved oxygen tests. I also assisted with sample collection and preparation for environmental monitoring.

I operated laboratory equipment including spectrophotometers and COD reactors, maintained laboratory records, and followed safety procedures.

For my project, “Treatment and Characterization of Used Engine Oil,” I analyzed used lubricating oil before and after acid treatment to assess changes in viscosity, density, and pour point. I’m seeking to apply my chemical knowledge and analytical skills in an industrial laboratory or environmental science setting.
