→ Created ETL pipelines to get and transform financial data from various third-party APIs to the credit application used for lead acquisition and underwriting credit risk for companies applying for credit.
→ Integrated Elasticsearch to the search API to enable fast search for the millions of records in the data warehouse.
→ Integrated ML models used in the Analytic application.

→ Integrated visualization tools to aid investors in knowing what areas in the UK to choose properties to buy.
→ Moved from a more manual way of estimating the rental value to using machine learning leading to an increase in accuracy by about 40 percent in rental revenue estimation and reducing the time taken to screen a property.

→ Migrating services from the Flacon framework to Django framework for scalability.
→ Worked on integrating Consumer-Driven Contract Testing to test various Microservices working together in a scalable way.
→ Develop admin tools to get new partners launched much faster by a factor of 3. This also helped remove engineers from the operational aspect of the product.

GoWest is a Dutch travel booking app that integrates flights, hotels, road trips, and cruises.
→ Broke down the monolithic application to have a backend/frontend service. This allowed parallel development of both parts of the application
→ Aided in creation in the creation of a CI/CD pipeline as a more manual process was being used to allow developers to stay focused on writing code

→ Worked closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand the business needs.
→ Promote and nurture good team practices such as TDD, code reviews, and pair programming.

Worked on iShamba, Mediae’s innovative SMS/call centre-based agricultural information service for Kenyan farmers. Also developed websites for Mediae’s other information services.
→ Completely overhauled the entire front end of iShamba’s platform rearranging various components to reduce the number of steps users took to perform certain actions.
