I’m looking for a senior Flutter or mobile engineering role where I can own meaningful product work, shape maintainable architecture, ship polished features, and collaborate closely with product, backend, QA, and design in a remote-first team.
Sam User
@samnbd
Senior Flutter engineer with 6+ years in Flutter, leading production apps across architecture, APIs, BLE/firmware integration, and releases.
What I'm looking for
I’m a senior mobile engineer with 11+ years in software development and more than 6 years specializing in Flutter. My background includes full-stack web development, Unity/C# games, freelance cross-platform apps, and over four years leading Flutter development for a production consumer application used by tens of thousands of active users.
I work across the full mobile-app lifecycle: scalable architecture, BLoC/Cubit state management, REST APIs, Firebase, local persistence, design-system implementation, testing, CI/CD, and App Store and Google Play releases.
A major part of my experience has involved BLE-connected consumer devices and close collaboration with firmware teams. I translated firmware specifications into cross-platform Dart APIs, built and maintained device communication features, and handled difficult production problems involving pairing, reconnection, background services, isolates, app lifecycle, state recovery, multi-device synchronization, and differences between Android and iOS.
This work required debugging timing-dependent and hard-to-reproduce issues across app, operating-system, firmware, and hardware layers. It gave me strong experience in designing reliable systems, investigating production failures, validating behavior on real devices, and maintaining complex functionality across multiple product generations.
From May 2022 to August 2026, I worked fully remotely as Lead Mobile Engineer at Pavlok, collaborating asynchronously with product, backend, QA, firmware, and design teams across time zones. I also use AI-assisted workflows such as Claude and Codex for planning, implementation, debugging, refactoring, code review, and test design, while retaining ownership of architecture, quality, and delivery.
I’m now interested in senior Flutter and mobile-engineering roles where I can apply that production depth to building reliable, maintainable applications—whether they involve complex integrations or more traditional API-driven product development.
