Agricultural Economist who delivers investment appraisal, value-chain analysis, and field M&E to de-risk agribusiness finance.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Agricultural Economist with over four years of progressive experience in agricultural project implementation, agribusiness development, agricultural finance, and commercial farming. I focus on evaluating the technical, commercial, and financial viability of agribusiness investments across dairy, maize, poultry, soybean, and Irish potato value chains.
In my field work, I conduct pre-investment assessments, credit appraisal support, and due diligence visits—verifying production systems, asset ownership, and enterprise performance to judge repayment capacity. I monitor financed enterprises by tracking production outcomes, income generation, loan utilization, repayment trends, and emerging business risks, and I support reporting to development partners.
At FAO Rwanda, I worked with technical teams and partners to strengthen agricultural innovation systems and improve the competitiveness of priority value chains. I’ve facilitated collaboration among farmers, cooperatives, researchers, financial institutions, the private sector, and government agencies, and I’ve led Farmer Field Schools and demonstration activities to advance climate-smart technologies and commercially oriented production.
