Samantha Carter

I'm a school social worker with Pender County Schools, supporting students across elementary, middle, high, and alternative school settings. I connect students and families with community resources, provide essentials such as food and clothing, track attendance, and work with families experiencing truancy.

My MSW training included school-based outreach, small-group and one-on-one therapy, social-emotional learning instruction, and interventions for high-risk students. I also bring years of youth leadership experience from Camp Dixie, where I mentor counselors-in-training, develop leadership training, and plan inclusive activities for children and teens.
