I am a mathematician specializing in data science and machine learning, proficient in Python and libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib. I have practical experience with Transformers, Hugging Face pipelines, and foundational work on large language models.
Academically, my BS project derived a new, workable formula for the permanent of circulant matrices, and I studied stellar structure through the Lane–Emden equation. Professionally, I supervised a mathematics department, taught upper-grade courses, coordinated a national Mathematics Olympiad, and held leadership roles in SIAM and the Mathematics Society.
I build applied projects, including a university chatbot (LangChain + LLMs, PyPDF2), an English–Urdu translation model, CNN-based drowsiness detection with TensorFlow/Keras, and algorithmic comparisons for the 8-puzzle. I am collaborative, quick to learn, and motivated to apply mathematical thinking to real-world problems.
