Salome Mary Makasi

I am Salome Mary Makasi, a Junior Cyber Security Analyst based in Nairobi, Kenya. With a strong foundation in computing and information systems, I have developed a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive social change. My journey has been marked by a commitment to innovation and leadership, particularly in the realm of climate change and technology integration. As a co-founder of Zerobionic, I manage daily operations and foster a culture of excellence within my team, ensuring that we align our efforts with our mission to create impactful solutions.

In addition to my role at Zerobionic, I founded Carditect, a startup focused on developing an application that utilizes machine learning to detect silent heart attacks. This project reflects my dedication to using technology for health improvement and social benefit. My volunteer work with AYLF Kenya and Volta has further enriched my experience, allowing me to mentor youth and contribute to community development. I am passionate about continuous learning and growth, and I strive to make a meaningful impact through my work.
