Saiprasad Natarajan

I'm an engineering and product leader with 19+ years across startups, scale-ups and large enterprises. I started as a developer at Infosys, spent seven years at Curam (acquired by IBM) delivering government social-program platforms across North America, Europe and ANZ, then joined Swiss Re as a Solution Architect and left as VP of Cloud Engineering — where I was the first tech hire for the India unit and built it from just me to 20+ engineers plus ~60 contractors. There I led the migration of 200+ applications to Azure, stood up a Cloud Centre of Excellence that other teams chose to build on, and owned a seven-figure cloud and data budget.

For the last 3+ years I co-founded and ran technology at Pangea Tech, a bootstrapped software-and-AI company we scaled to 65 people across India and the US, serving 20+ clients from startups to a Fortune 500 insurer. We shipped production AI before the playbooks existed — including a RAG platform and in-call co-pilot for 45,000+ sales agents, and a digital platform that grew a client from 1 to 80+ locations. I've built engineering orgs from scratch, hired and grown leaders from within, set technical strategy, and stayed hands-on enough to review designs and de-risk the hard calls.

What draws me is building and scaling the whole engineering function — the architecture, the platforms, the delivery cadence, and above all the teams. I've done 0-to-1 products and enterprise-grade systems, cloud migrations and cloud-native builds, and more recently production AI, so I'm comfortable across the stack and the maturity curve. I think from first principles, care about building teams that execute independently, and I'm looking for a senior technology or product leadership role where I can make a real difference — whatever the domain.
