I am a recent IIIT Hyderabad graduate and currently working as an Applied Scientist at Amazon. I have spent my undergraduate years developing a keen understanding of the fundamentals of Deep Learning and Machine Learning, specifically in the fields of Natural Language Processing(NLP) and Computer Vision(NLP). During my academic years, I worked as a research assistant in both CV and NLP labs at IIIT H under the professors Dr. Manish Shrivastava and Dr. Ravikiran Sarvadevbhatla and generated a novel approach to solve sequential behavior of transformers in vision, earning me an honors degree in NLP.
During my honors research, I have worked on several interesting projects that intend to solve real world problems in both CV (mainly includes medical imaging solutions) and NLP and with various datasets. This helped me become proficient in PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Sklearn and various other deep learning libraries.
At Amazon, I used my Deep Learning and Machine Learning knowledge to design solutions to analyze payee interacting from various locations and businesses and detecting anomalies to our payee service in a short time. I incorporated my business insights to my technical solutions by interacting with stakeholders and product managers. I have also deployed my research solutions to an end to end pipeline on AWS builder hub. Subsequently, as a part of implementation all the manual work has been automated and scaled up the fields to be analyzed by around 100 times.
