What I'm looking for

I'm looking to modernize legacy systems into secure, cloud-native services, combining Java and Spring Boot backend architecture with React product development, data processing, and reliable CI/CD delivery.

I'm leading the State of Minnesota's modernization of Delphi-based case-management systems into Java 17 and Spring Boot services used by thousands of caseworkers statewide. I designed the MAARC redesign, built secure OAuth2/OpenID Connect and Azure Entra ID authentication, and deliver React and TypeScript applications alongside the backend.

Before that, I rebuilt Goldman Sachs' legacy Perl DBA portal as secure Spring Boot microservices on AWS, using Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, and React. I also validated large-scale financial-data migrations with Spark and Hive while supporting compliance, auditability, and least-privilege access controls.

At Catalist, I built a client data-matching application from scratch using Spring Boot, Hadoop, Hive, Elasticsearch, Spark, and EMR. Across my work, I modernize systems end to end, improve deployment and monitoring workflows, and mentor engineers through pairing and code review.
