I'm seeking backend or data engineering roles where I can build secure, scalable APIs and ETL pipelines, work with cloud-native tooling (GCP/Docker), contribute to CI/CD and testing, and grow within collaborative teams solving fintech or data-driven problems.

I'm a back-end software engineer and data engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya. I specialize in building secure fintech systems and scalable ETL pipelines.

At JENGA I led backend development for a B2B forex automation service using Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL on GCP, improving client profitability by 5%. I also streamlined CI/CD with Docker, Heroku and GCP and reduced debugging time by 20% through robust testing practices.
