Michael Kendagor

I am a backend developer passionate about building scalable, responsive systems, reliable data flows, and robust server-side infrastructures. I focus on crafting efficient back-end solutions that power modern applications and services.

I led the development of a Virtual Police Station — an end-to-end system to automate record management, data tracking, and core police services. I designed user-friendly interfaces for officers and administrators, engineered secure backend systems, implemented automated data entry and retrieval features, and worked closely with stakeholders to meet operational needs.

I have built and maintained e-commerce and financial systems, including a pharmaceutical marketplace backend and a short-term loan platform. In those roles I implemented secure authentication and authorization, automated scoring and payment flows, and optimized backend performance using Django, Django REST Framework, and PostgreSQL.

I work with modern tooling including Docker, Heroku, Git, Africastalking API, and Pandas for data cleaning and analysis, and I apply rigorous testing and debugging practices. I bring hands-on project ownership, a data-driven approach, and a commitment to security and reliability to teams building impactful backend services.
