Sahil Tikande

I’m a Computer Engineering student with a strong interest in web development and building scalable, real-world applications. I enjoy solving complex problems and continuously improving my skills across frontend and backend technologies. I’m driven to create efficient, user-focused solutions that deliver real value.

As a Java Software Developer, I developed and maintained Java-based applications with clean, efficient, and scalable code. I worked on backend development, including API creation and database integration, and I improved application performance through debugging and optimization. I also gained hands-on experience with SDLC and version control using Git.

I completed an industry-oriented Java and SQL Development program, strengthening my Core Java fundamentals like OOP, exception handling, and collections. I designed and executed SQL queries for database creation, manipulation, and retrieval, and I built Java application and database mini-projects to sharpen my problem-solving and debugging skills.

I build projects that mix practical UX and core engineering—like a personal music player with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, a word scramble game using JavaScript DOM and events, and a Payroll Management System using Java, MySQL, and GUI frameworks. I also created an AI Resume Ranking System with Python and Streamlit using TF-IDF and cosine similarity, and I value teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.
