I’m a senior backend engineer with 6+ years building and scaling production systems across Python/Django microservices, REST APIs, and modern web frontends. I deliver complex projects end-to-end—from database design and service architecture to deployment pipelines—especially in high-load environments serving millions of users.

Most recently, I led a full relaunch of a radio equipment rental platform from scratch, shipping product catalog, offer creation, news, and page management. I reduced catalog page load time to under 1 second by implementing Redis caching for API responses and PostgreSQL indexing for search and filtering, and I kept the system responsive under load with Celery background processing for image resizing and cropping.

I also built internal and cross-service capabilities that make teams faster: a receipt management multi-service app (React + Django + Luigi + PDF processing) with German tax authority (Datev) submission compliance, plus a MinIO-based cloud storage service that replaced Google Drive with seamless local ↔ cloud synchronization via a cross-platform desktop app. Alongside this, I managed GitLab CI/CD pipelines across multiple microservice projects and independently modified pipeline configs when needed.

Earlier roles strengthened my foundation in distributed systems and automation. I integrated Algolia search with typo-tolerant, multi-language capabilities, built a ChatGPT API–driven translation pipeline for HTML-embedded code snippets, and improved performance using Redis caching and query reductions. I’ve also designed end-to-end workflows like verification + moderation for citizen appeals, and I’ve built full products as a sole developer (including offline-friendly behavior and real-time WebSocket sync), while mentoring students and junior engineers throughout.
