At Crop Circle Games I jumped straight into a process of evaluating several backend providers, and then focused on architecting a backend that abstracted away the backend provider, thereby allowing the backend to be nimble, and enabling the final provider decision to be deferred. I also worked in the Unreal client to author and integrate and SDK that would allow access to the custom backend.

At BonusXP my role focused on leading backend architecture for games that required a backend, and general client-side programming for all games, including those that did not require a backend.

Lead programmer on "The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Tactics".

Another other notable focus was multiplayer programming in Unreal.

At Zynga I contributed backend experience to help launch CastleVille, during which time I took on the Systems Pod Lead role. I then moved on to working on an unreleased Unity3D mobile title using C#.

At Ebuyer (and its sister company, Wren Kitchens) I worked on systems throughout the stack, from the e-commerce website to the systems that managed the backend warehouse. This included designing and implementing databases from scratch, and the software stacks that built on top of them.

At Plusnet I developed systems for the website and backend from database through to the user interface. I also specialized on optimization and code quality.
