At INESC TEC, I develop end-to-end computer vision systems for automated industrial quality inspection, including data acquisition, synthetic data generation, training, evaluation, and real-time inference pipelines.
I've designed and evaluated deep learning approaches for defect detection and segmentation in challenging real-world conditions, validating solutions with industrial partners and contributing to peer-reviewed research and R&D proposals.
Previously at INEGI, I built industrial vision inspection systems, worked with clients on technical requirements, and coordinated system integration with suppliers. I also teach electronics and digital systems at ISEP, mentoring students through hands-on engineering projects.
