I’m a senior software engineer with 10+ years building backend systems in fintech, crypto, and telecom—covering payments, exchanges, fraud detection, and high-availability USSD at scale. I architect and own solutions end-to-end, using AI-assisted workflows to move fast without sacrificing quality.

At CrissCross (acquired by Stitch), I built a double-entry ledger to become the source of truth for reconciliation and financial audit across the platform. I also architected and delivered end-to-end payout functionality, integrated with Binance, VALR, Kraken, and Luno, and shipped production features end-to-end with my focus on architecture, scoping, and review.

Earlier, as a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead at Fanblock, I led architecture decisions on a small 2-person team and built an MVP designed for match-day load spikes from day one. That experience reinforced my working style: companies succeed when they build what clients actually want.

Across Nala and Luno, I focused on revenue-critical systems like exchange-rate engines and payment corridors, and I built real-time fraud detection and mitigation tooling to keep fraud below 0.1% of transaction volume. Before that, I worked on telecom platform engineering, building high-traffic USSD applications for MTN and Standard Bank under tight latency and availability constraints.
