At Sahjeevan Trust, I led the pre-implementation planning and operational design of a proposed community livelihood and ecological restoration project in Bandhavgarh, focused on invasive Lantana camara management and biochar production.
I assessed biomass-to-biochar pathways, including technology options, financial viability, implementation needs, and livelihood opportunities. I also supported project budgeting and coordinated technical, operational, and stakeholder requirements.
During the India Fellow Social Leadership Program at Sahjeevan Trust, I supported the design and feasibility of a community-based biochar carbon project across three villages. I evaluated artisanal Kon-Tiki kilns and mechanised systems, and developed funding proposals, budgets, and financial models for climate initiatives.
For a forthcoming Dialogue Earth article, I researched biochar’s potential role in steelmaking and decarbonisation, conducting field reporting and expert interviews across Karnataka, West Bengal, and Gujarat. Earlier, I delivered BIM models and coordinated documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
