At Lear Corporation, I owned sourcing strategy and supplier management for automotive direct-material categories, including carpet, scrim, spacers, and cloth. I reduced a projected supplier price increase from $385K to $230K, delivering $155K in cost avoidance through fact-based negotiation.
I also eliminated an expected $185K CPI-driven increase and negotiated a longer pricing collar. I partnered with engineering, quality, and program teams on PPAP and validation requirements, and evaluated make-vs-buy scenarios using value-engineering and total-cost-of-ownership tradeoffs.
At GE Aerospace, I managed a sole-sourced supplier relationship representing $200MM in spend and delivered $2MM in annual savings using internal should-cost models. At Georgia-Pacific, I managed $190MM across five commodity categories and delivered approximately 5% annual savings through category strategy and competitive sourcing.
At Procter & Gamble, I led a cross-functional team managing $200MM in spend and delivered $5MM+ in annual savings while mitigating inflation and supply disruption. I now lead procurement and growth engagements through my independent strategy consulting work.
