What I'm looking for
I’m a multidisciplinary professional working at the intersection of people, systems, technology, data, and creative work. My background spans software development, technical documentation, data analysis, project management, education, arts administration, and community programming.
I worked as a Software Developer II at Progressive Insurance, contributing to 50+ projects and collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers. I created 50+ pages of technical documentation and design patterns to improve knowledge sharing and team communication, and helped restructure approximately 200 webpages, contributing to a 28.55% increase in organic traffic.
My technical background includes SQL, Python, R, HTML/CSS/TypeScript, REST APIs, web development, databases, Excel, Tableau, SharePoint, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite. I’ve also completed training through Google Data Analytics, Google's Tech Equity Collective, and Tech Elevator. I enjoy technology, but I’m increasingly interested in roles where coding is a tool rather than the entire job—particularly technical content, knowledge management, content operations, UX, business/process analysis, customer experience, product operations, enablement, and documentation.
Outside technology, I’m a creative director, project manager, musician, composer, and cultural organizer. I founded and lead Creation Festival, a Cleveland arts and music festival, managing teams, budgets, logistics, communications, technical infrastructure, promotion, and partnerships. The festival grew attendance by approximately 300% and has raised more than $10,000 for local organizations. I also lead Black Voltron, a nine-person experimental hip-hop/jazz band, handling creative direction, finances, bookings, production, and organizational strategy.
I’m interested in music, technology, AI, UX/design, data, education, accessibility, arts and culture, and community building. I’m especially drawn to organizations that value interdisciplinary thinkers who can translate between technical and nontechnical environments.
Long term, I’m building a portfolio career combining technology, creative work, cultural leadership, and community impact. Right now, I’m looking for a stable role where I can apply my strengths in communication, documentation, systems thinking, project coordination, information management, and problem-solving while continuing to grow.
