I've delivered public health analytics for the CDC, Maximus, and academic institutions for more than 20 years, translating surveillance and survey data into decision-ready reports, dashboards, and reproducible analyses.
At CDC's Division of Oral Health, I designed NHANES survey-weighted analyses using SAS and SUDAAN and built Python Dash dashboards for the Water Fluoridation Reporting System, including state- and county-level mapping and data-quality monitoring. I also modernized the SEALS program through a cloud-based Epi Info 7 survey prototype and state-partner testing.
At Maximus, I co-led CDC Data Modernization Initiative work across data architecture, engineering, analytics, and electronic case reporting, while managing multidisciplinary teams delivering prototypes and implementation playbooks. Earlier CDC work included respiratory disease surveillance, COVID-19 emergency response, national alcohol-use estimates, statistical support, and QA workflows.
I've also taught graduate epidemiology and biostatistics at Brown and Emory, supported global health training and mental health surveillance in Colombia, and provide certified Spanish-English medical interpretation in clinical and educational settings.
