What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build rigorous machine learning and trading systems where mathematical ideas, reliable implementation, and leakage-free evaluation matter. I'm especially interested in non-stationary time series, probabilistic forecasting, reinforcement learning, and reproducible research.

I'm finishing an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Verona, where my thesis builds a five-stage deep learning pipeline for portfolio optimization. The system combines β-VAE state estimation, Transformer aggregation, a Born-rule forecast layer, and PPO allocation; it achieved a backtested Sharpe of 2.24 versus 0.90 for buy-and-hold, net of modelled costs.

I work across mathematical derivation, implementation, and leakage-free evaluation. I also built autonomous trading agents and privacy-preserving peer-to-peer applications, placing Top 5 among 517 teams at BNB Hack and Top 8 at the Tether Developers Cup.
