Rex Le Chevalier
@rexlechevalier
Experienced technical leader in games specializing in gameplay and AI.
What I'm looking for
I am an experienced technical leader in the games industry with deep expertise in gameplay, game AI, and building high-performing teams. I have directed gameplay and AI programming on AAA titles, led cross-studio alignment, and shipped complex systems across consoles and PC.
I have held senior roles at Quantic Dream and Ubisoft, led the programming team for Thunder Lotus and Buildozer projects, and taught game prototyping and production at Collège Bois-de-Boulogne, Champlain College, and McGill. I also founded Reximus Coaching to provide leadership, DEI, hiring, and career coaching services.
My technical strengths include C++, C#, Unity, internal engines, networking, deterministic simulation, and software architecture; I pair that with mentoring, process improvement, and cross-cultural collaboration to deliver polished, performant game experiences.
