What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my Swahili/English NLP and AI data annotation skills to train accurate, culturally relevant language models, while supporting quality assurance and reliable, fast turnaround outcomes.

I’m a detail-oriented Swahili AI Trainer with experience in language annotation, translation, transcription, prompt evaluation, and AI model training. From January 2020 to March 2024, I trained AI models using Swahili conversational datasets, reviewed and corrected AI-generated responses for grammar, tone, and cultural relevance, and collaborated with QA teams to improve accuracy and consistency.

I also bring communication and public relations strength from my Public Relation and Communication Intern role at Koitaleel Samoei University College, where I translated English content into fluent Swahili for AI and localization projects, created labeled datasets for NLP applications, and managed and updated content for the university’s social media platforms. I bring organized teamwork, honest agile methodologies, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality linguistic data, cultural accuracy, and timely results.
