I’m looking for a remote Senior Java Engineer job

I’m a Java software engineer with over 10 years at Critical Software, covering developer, tester, Scrum Master, release manager, and—most recently—Maintenance & Support team leadership. I bring a PhD in Applied Mathematics and more than a decade teaching at university level, which shapes how I approach engineering: analytical, rigorous, and focused on clarity.

In my current role, I lead a team of 5 and drive a shift from reactive resolution to root-cause analysis, proposing structural fixes and building a knowledge base that reduced diagnosis time. I’ve achieved 99.7% SLA compliance and 97%+ first-time resolution rate with zero breaches on workaround or resolution SLAs, while keeping ticket triage stable and predictable during unusual load. More recently, I apply spec-driven development to build MCP integrations with language models, assisting ticket resolution and automating workflows.
