I’m a software developer and technical analyst at Barclays, working in Risk Finance and Treasury on a large-scale credit card data migration programme. I joined in late 2023 as a junior developer, moved into credit decision systems with Experian PowerCurve, and since then I’ve been focused on data engineering and automated test validation for the Sierra Cards programme.
I build automation that replaces manual work end-to-end: data loaders, job submission wrappers, validation runners, and API integrations. I use Python and PySpark to trace issues quickly—following decision logic, diagnosing data type mismatches, and improving exception handling so it’s easier to see why a run produced no result. Outside work, I build autonomous software too, including a Python algorithmic trading bot on Kraken controlled via the Telegram Bot API.
