I am a results-driven TV programming strategist and content acquisition executive with over 10 years of leadership experience in broadcast and media. I currently lead programming and acquisitions at Kana TV, Ethiopia’s leading free-to-air entertainment channel.

I have sourced, negotiated and localized top-performing international dramas — producing voiced dubbing and cultural adaptations across 200+ hours of content and building a strong content library tailored to East African viewers.

My work has strengthened prime-time market share and audience loyalty through data-informed scheduling, rights negotiation with global distributors, and end-to-end production oversight. I manage relationships with more than 30 international distribution partners and coordinate cross-department teams for compliance and quality.

I serve as an International Emmy Awards juror (Drama category) since 2017 and regularly speak at major global TV markets, sharing expertise on acquisition strategies, localization and emerging market trends.
