I am a Software Developer and AI Researcher based in Nairobi, Kenya, holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Informatics with Second Class Honors (Upper Division) from Strathmore University. Over the course of my academic and practical career, I have developed broad technical competencies across full-stack software development, database administration, and applied artificial intelligence. I engineered StegaShield, a digital security platform using Python and LSB steganography to embed tamper-evident watermarks into images without altering their perceptible quality. In applied NLP, I fine-tuned a BERT transformer model with Hugging Face to detect linguistic bias in news reporting with 82% accuracy. To address distributed network challenges, I created Savanna Trace, an IoT tracking tool using MQTT and dynamic DNS to maintain reliable network connectivity with remote campus equipment, as well as Dream-Queue Hybrid, an intelligent OS-level scheduling system designed to optimize background compute capacity without slowing user workflows.
