What I'm looking for

I’m looking to design standards-aligned, mathematically rigorous K-9 curricula that clearly build from concrete to abstract, using assessment to refine content and instruction in a collaborative, learner-focused environment.

I’m an educator with an Ed.S. in Mathematics Education and nearly 30 years of experience teaching K-9 math across public classrooms, cooperative, and individualized settings. I’m skilled at sequencing math concepts from concrete to abstract, writing mathematically rigorous content in clear language, and adapting instruction across a wide span of grade levels and student abilities.

I’ve led curriculum planning and standards alignment, built differentiated practice sets when existing materials didn’t fit, and used ongoing assessment to identify misconceptions and adjust instruction. I’ve also served as a Program Coordinator & Educator—co-leading operations, recruiting and mentoring instructors, and supporting program families—while continuing to teach independently; in 2023, I expanded my content work by founding Nuts and Twigs and managing the full long-form content lifecycle through performance analysis.
