What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to impact educational practices and support teachers in delivering high-quality math instruction.

I am a dedicated math educator with over 15 years of experience teaching middle school and currently inspiring third graders. My journey began at Ellis Middle School, where I developed engaging, hands-on lessons that made math meaningful for my students. I have a strong commitment to fostering a love of learning and creating a positive classroom culture.

As a former math coach for School District U-46, I supported 42 elementary schools in aligning their curriculum with Common Core standards. I co-authored K–8 standards-based assessments and led professional development sessions for teachers, focusing on effective strategies for teaching math. My collaborative approach has allowed me to work closely with educators to enhance their teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
