Redha Cherif

I am a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing and operating scalable data platforms across cloud environments. I lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions that support cross-functional stakeholders and strategic initiatives.

At Decathlon I supervise a team of four data engineers building an insight layer for a major pricing transformation, combining Kimball dimensional modeling and One Big Table approaches to manage over 1 TB of data for multi-country use. I implemented an analytics-focused backend using AWS, dbt, Databricks, Airflow and Python to support analysts, BI engineers and data scientists.

Previously I built and scaled a GCP-based data platform at Biogaran to serve hundreds of users, acted as technical lead for analytics engineers, and maintained a centralized data warehouse supporting 20+ projects. I also delivered data analytics consulting engagements, producing Power BI dashboards, star schemas and reusable SQL templates for marketing and operations.

I speak internationally on data and AI topics and contribute tooling improvements such as a custom Airflow library adopted across organizations. I prioritize robust, maintainable pipelines, developer-friendly tooling, and measurable business impact in every project.
