Rebecca Richmond

I am a dedicated and knowledgeable Health Science Instructor with a strong background in health education, anatomy, physiology, and public health. My experience includes developing and delivering engaging curriculum to diverse student populations in both classroom and online settings. I am committed to fostering a supportive learning environment and equipping students with the skills and knowledge required for success in the real world.

Currently, I serve as a Health Resource Advocate at the Saginaw County Health Department, where I support school health initiatives and work on the BWell Initiative, dedicated to the health and wellness of public-school youth and staff. I have created informative presentations for K-12 students on various health topics and have trained staff in CPR and Stop the Bleed techniques. My role also involves collaborating with the Sex Education Advisory Board and Wellness Committee to enhance health education within the Birch Run School District.

Previously, I worked as an Instructional Designer and Educational Technologist at Baker College, where I designed programs and courses for various learning environments. My focus has been on utilizing best practices in instructional design and integrating emerging educational technologies to support effective learning. I have a passion for teaching and have instructed courses in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, always striving to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
