Rebecca Nazer

My name is Rebecca Nazer, and I am currently pursuing a B.A./B.S. in Business Economics at SUNY Cortland, where I maintain a GPA of 3.67. My academic journey has been complemented by various leadership roles and extracurricular activities, including my involvement in Model UN, where I have honed my public speaking and negotiation skills. I am passionate about understanding global issues and have developed a strong analytical mindset through my research and collaborative efforts with peers from diverse backgrounds.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable work experience at Blue Space - Surf Shop, where I enhanced my problem-solving abilities and expertise in merchandising and social media marketing. My role required balancing customer needs with operational challenges, fostering teamwork, and driving sales engagement. I also have experience in customer service and financial accuracy from my previous position as a Candy Maker & Cashier, where I cultivated attention to detail and time management skills.

As a captain of my high school soccer team, I developed leadership and team management skills, motivating my teammates and executing game strategies under pressure. My experiences in both athletics and academics have equipped me with resilience, strategic thinking, and a global perspective that I am eager to bring to my future career.
