At Hearts Ease Counseling Center and Rayburn Elementary, I provided supervised counseling support to children, adolescents, and families. I used developmentally appropriate, CBT-informed, play-based, and child-centered strategies to support emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, and adjustment concerns.
At Palmview High School, I held individual student conferences and group presentations, and worked with students and families on successful transitions. I also connected them with resources and maintained confidential records and progress-tracking systems.
At La Joya ISD - Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School, I provided individual, small-group, and classroom-based counseling for students’ academic, social, emotional, and personal development. I facilitated 504 meetings and participated in ARD and special-education referral processes.
Earlier, I taught seventh grade and worked as a substitute teacher at La Joya Independent School District. I hold a Master's in School Counseling from Lamar University, and my Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Texas School Counselor certifications are active.
