At Calexico Unified School District (CUSD), I maintain student health records, including immunizations, health assessments, and vision and hearing screenings. I audit immunization files, coordinate with parents and guardians to resolve missing documentation, and triage student health visits.
At UC San Diego (UCSD), I organized physical medical records, transcribed handwritten notes into electronic files, and interpreted between English and Spanish for medical staff and patients. Earlier, at Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), Mexicali, I developed nutrition plans and created evidence-based guidelines and materials for the nutrition department.
