I’m a credit control and accounts receivable professional built around one goal: reduce overdue balances while protecting the business from avoidable credit risk. Working from Dubai, I focus on accurate invoicing, timely collection, and clear communication that turns past-due accounts into resolved ones.

At Emirates Islamic Bank, I manage heavy direct customer telephone collection for 80% of past-due invoices, review credit applications and customer payment history, and resolve billing and cash application issues quickly. I also handle daily and month-end account reconciliations using spreadsheets (including the daily cash log), define and apply payment terms, and process legal case steps for bad payers.

Previously, as an Account Controller at Community credit company, I tracked outstanding balances and prepared ageing reports (including 30/60/90-day style analysis), supported dispute resolution with store and regional managers, and kept collection activity moving on delinquent accounts. I sent statements and dunning letters, initiated telephone contact for past-due collections, and processed bad debt write-offs when required.

Earlier, I worked as a Collection Officer at Best point Bank, where I helped recommend collection process improvements and supported PeopleSoft upgrades related to collections. I ensured compliance with external audit and internal audit recommendations, supported onboarding and development of AR collection representatives, and assisted with resolving and reconciling complex PeopleSoft payment applications and unusual/sensitive provider inquiries.
