Rana Taleb

I’m an AI Developer & Researcher passionate about creating impactful AI systems and exploring how they can be built more securely. I combine solid ML and GenAI development with a growing interest in threat analysis and AI governance, and I’m currently a BSc student in Computer Science at Al Maaref University.

At Semicolon Security, I’ve been supporting outbound lead generation and appointment setting while building in an AI-driven environment. From December 2025 to the present, I booked 263 qualified sales calls (about 59% of all non-webinar-generated appointments company-wide), maintained a 47% prospect show-up rate (124 leads onto discovery and sales calls), and contributed to 43 closed deals (around a 35% close rate) by optimizing outreach pipelines and delivery.

In parallel, I’m advancing hands-on research and security skills: as an AI Research Contributor on the Code Blue Prediction Project (University × Hospital collaboration), I’m working with a real clinical dataset of 900 patient records and currently reaching 82.4% prediction accuracy. I implement end-to-end data ingestion, feature extraction, preprocessing pipelines, and caching strategies to improve model accuracy and feedback responsiveness; I also have SOC Analyst internship training in OSINT, reconnaissance, wireless and network security, web application security, social engineering, and cryptography, and I apply NLP-focused thinking in projects like automated legal case analysis.
