I’m looking to build and own backend services for cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS—especially event-driven microservices. I want a team where technical leadership matters, performance/cost optimization is valued, and I can mentor engineers while solving real production problems.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 6+ years specializing in backend development and 10+ years overall in software. I design, build, and own cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS services end-to-end—REST APIs and event-driven microservices—while balancing system design, performance, and cost optimization.

At Synopsys, I owned customer onboarding and metering & billing services end-to-end, including a least-privilege permission redesign that cut requested permissions ~90% (10K to 1K) and unblocked onboarding for 10+ enterprise customers. I also built per-tenant usage reporting for AWS and Azure marketplaces, designing 100+ REST API endpoints and engineering 2,000+ recurring background sync jobs to improve synchronization accuracy across all SaaS tenants.

Previously as Lead Backend Engineer at Jeevee, I built the backend platform from scratch, assembled and led a 5-engineer backend team, and re-architected notifications into an event-driven microservice to eliminate outages and duplicate sends. I’ve consistently driven design reviews, resolved production and performance issues, improved query performance (from ~2 minutes to under 50ms), cut non-production AWS costs ~70%, and mentored/hired to grow and sustain teams.
